General Feature

BALDER B 514 is a versatile adhesive, the main ingredient of which is polychloropene.

Using Technique

In the Cobbler Industry, leather artificial leather, leathery, rubber sole etc. in bonding to each other or to wood and metal
In Furniture Industry, Adhering Thermoplastic materials to wood, metal or each other
When bonding thermoset plastics (formica, bakelite etc.) to wood, metal or each other

Technique Using

The surfaces to be adhered must be dry, clean and oil-free, and if possible cleaned with sandpaper.
Materials should be at normal temperature. The best temperature is 18ºC – 20ºC. It is not recommended to work under 15ºC.
Adhesive must be applied on both surfaces.
The time required for the adhesive to dry is 10-20 minutes. Drying time varies depending on the amount of adhesive applied, temperature and ventilation time. Wait until the wetness of the adhesive passes for the bonding process.
Usage Amount: It is 125 – 150 gr / m². On the surfaces where a sufficient amount of adhesive is applied, a continuous film layer is observed.
It is not possible to fix the contacted surfaces by opening or sliding on each other. A stronger bond is obtained on the pressed adhesion surfaces. The press pressure is 0.3 N / mm² for flexible materials and 0.5 N / mm² for hard materials. Press time of a few seconds is sufficient.
